The GRA wishes to remind Self-employed individuals that they are required to attach their final accounts, which should be prepared on an accrual basis when submitting their Individual Income Tax Return.
These accounts include the following:
• Income or Profit and Loss Statement
• Balance Sheet
Additionally, the Financial Statement Summary (FORM G0017 and G0018) must be submitted for the above-stated accounts. Both Summary Forms are available on the GRA’s website https://www.gra.gov.gy/forms/
Further, where a taxpayer claims wear and tear or declares a loss, a wear and tear schedule and loss relief schedule must accompany the Return.
The GRA encourages Self-employed individuals to ensure that all required documents are attached to the Individual Income Tax Return before submission to the agency.
All taxpayers are encouraged to submit all returns (including accounts, schedules, and forms) electronically using our E-services platform.
