The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) will be disposing several unserviceable motor vehicles, motor cycles, ATVs, motor vessels, outboard engines and other items in Lots on a ‘As Is, Where Is’ basis. These items are being sold as scrap for parts and will not be registered.
Inspection of the items will be facilitated daily commencing Tuesday, April 7, 2026 and concluding on Friday, April 10, 2026, during the hours of 9:00 to 15:00 at the GRA’s Warehouse Facility, Industrial Site, Eccles, East Bank Demerara and Customs Bond, Corriverton, Berbice.
Interested persons are required to submit expression of interest to the Revenue Authority (Headquarters at Lot 200-201 Camp Street, Georgetown) to purchase the unserviceable items in Lots. The letter must state clearly the items and quantity requested to purchase, amount offered, the person’s contact information and Taxpayer Identification Number and should be submitted on or before April 13, 2026 at 12:00 hours.
Terms and Conditions of Sale:
- The items are sold on an “As Is, Where Is” basis.
- Payment must be made in cash or manager’s cheque payable to the “Guyana Revenue Authority” within five (5) working days of being informed. Failure to pay within the stipulated time period, may result in the items being sold to another person.
- Removal and transport of the items from the locations would be the responsibility of the successful person(s) and must be removed within five (5) working days of payment.
- The motor vehicles, motor cycles and ATVs will not be registered and are being disposed as scrap for parts. The chassis frame will be retained by the Authority.
- Successful persons to make payment in person with a form of identification (ID Card/Passport/Drivers Licence).
Please note the Revenue Authority reserves the right to reject any or all requests and to remove or re-offer any of the items for sale.
