Suspension of the C32A Form for Gov’t/Budget, Semi-Autonomous, Subvention Agencies & Diplomatic Missions

March 1, 2021

The Customs, Excise, & Trade Operations of the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) has suspended the requirement for Government, Budget Agencies, Semi-Autonomous Agencies, Subvention Agencies and Diplomatic Missions/Agencies to complete and submit a Form C32A (DECLARATION OF PARTICULARS RELATING TO CUSTOMS VALUE TRANSACTION VALUE METHOD) under warranted circumstances.

The aim of this procedural change is to facilitate the timely release of goods imported by the entities referred to above, and to avoid delays that may occur in circumstances where the Form C32A must be completed for goods that are revalued by Customs because of declaration anomalies.

The suspension took effect February 11, 2021.

Notwithstanding, declarants must ensure that declarations submitted in ASYCUDA World are true and correct and comply with the rules of Classification, Origin and Valuation of the goods. In addition, the GRA reserves the right to review any declared particulars with or without the C32A.
