The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) is currently inviting applications from suitably qualified persons/companies to operate Diplomatic Duty Free Shops in Central Georgetown within the confines of the Customs Act/Customs Regulations and also in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

A Warehouse facility and/or Diplomatic Duty free Shop may be granted to any person or company who meets the specific requirements set out by the Commissioner- General (CG). Pursuant to Section 97 of the Customs Act, chapter 82:01, the Commissioner General has the right to determine the types of goods which are to be warehoused by any person or organisation.

Further information can be obtained at the address below during office hours – 08:00hrs to 16:00hrs on Mondays through Thursdays, and 08:00hrs – 15:30hrs on Fridays.

The deadline for submission of applications is Saturday, July 31, 2021.
