New service/payment stations

June 23, 2020

In an effort to ease congestion, promote social distancing and other safety measures for taxpayers during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) has set up an external work station at the Guyana Post Office Corporation (GPOC) Building to facilitate tax payments and submission of returns.

The station is located on the 2nd Floor of the GPOC Building (Old Cashier Cage), North Road entrance, Easterly direction.

Payments can be made for the following taxes:

  • All Internal Revenue Taxes
  • Customs Duties and Taxes
  • Motor Vehicle Licences
  • Value Added Tax (VAT)

Taxpayers can also submit Returns for various tax types at this location in time for the extended tax returns due date of June 30, 2020.

At present, the GRA is exploring additional locations at prime locations away from its Camp Street Headquarters where taxpayers can go to access tax related services.

During this time, the Authority will continue to monitor crowds and maintain protocols for body temperature checks, wearing of masks and sanitising of hands. The full cooperation of the taxpaying public will be appreciated.
