Attention all exporters, licensed Customhouse Brokers and users of the ASYCUDA World System the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) has introduced a mandatory online procedure to make bookings for exports examination and scanning.

Exporters, licensed Customhouse Brokers and users of the ASYCYDA World System are now required to submit an online booking reference to the Goods Examination Unit (GEU) via email address: exportbookings@gra.gov.gy. Submissions must be made 24 hours prior to the examination request.

Online booking reference must be made after an export e-SAD is submitted and payments have been made. The GEU and other Border Regulatory Agencies (BRA) will view email and an acknowledgement will be sent confirming date and time of examination.

Exporters and Brokers are reminded that it is mandatory to ensure the respective BRA complete their task in the automated system and the declaration is PROFILED GREEN by the Agency before making the online booking.

This new booking procedure is intended to alleviate delays and improve the timeliness of the dissemination of information from the GEU to other Border Regulatory Agencies.
