NEW C21 PROCEDURES – IMPORTERS/EXPORTERS AND LICENCED CUSTOMHOUSE BROKERS

January 14, 2022

The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) wishes to advise all Importers, Licenced Customhouse Brokers and Company Brokers that applications for Entry Provisional (C21) must be submitted to the Assistant Commissioner/Manager, Wharves or Assistant Commissioner/Manager of Airports, relevant to the location of goods.

Further, to facilitate this process it is required that Importers and Licenced Customhouse Brokers submit a formal application letter, Waybill/Bill of Lading, a completed C21 Form along with any other supporting documents and justification. The GRA reserves the right to reject any application and to demand the production of invoice/bills/receipts in certain cases.
