Facilities Management Officer – Facilities Management Unit, Operational Support Services Department

  • Assisting in formulating objectives, budgets, and work programmes to address facility needs and ensure business continuity.
  • Providing recommendations on scope, timelines, and specifications of maintenance and repair works.
  • Administering fire prevention mechanisms (detectors, sprinklers, alarms, signage) in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Overseeing and verifying completion of works and services through inspections and appraisals to ensure compliance with specifications and timelines.
  • Sourcing and obtaining quotes for equipment, materials, and services.
  • Certifying payment vouchers for accuracy and completeness to initiate payments.
  • Monitoring and maintaining adequate tools, equipment, and supplies for operational needs.
  • Liaising with internal units and external stakeholders for coordination and implementation of works.
  • Preparing correspondences, memoranda, and reports related to maintenance and improvements.
  • Developing and maintaining servicing schedules for air-conditioning units to ensure optimal performance.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business/Public Management, or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience in Facilities and Maintenance Management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GRA’s mission, mandate, strategic objectives, and relevant programmes.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to facilities management.
  • Strong project coordination and PC application skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize tasks within deadlines.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and integrity.
