The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) wishes to remind Licenced Customhouse Brokers that the extended deadline for the renewal of Customshouse Brokers Licences ended April 30, 2022.

However, to date, some brokers have failed to comply in accordance with the requirements as stipulated in the Customs Act.

The Authority hereby gives notice, that after consideration, a further extension is approved until Monday, May 16, 2022.

Failure to comply with this timeline may result in the Customs, Excise & Trade Operations imposing sanctions as provided for under the Customs Act including suspension of their licences and the removal of access to ASYCUDA World.

Please note that no further extensions will be granted.
